Critic Cat is a casual mobile game where you help a cat catch falling food items. Your privacy is important to us, and we want you to enjoy the game with peace of mind.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Critic Cat:

• Does not require an account or login
• Does not collect your name, email, or any personal details
• Does not track your location
• Does not access your contacts, photos, or files
• Does not contain third-party advertising

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage data that helps us improve the game experience. This includes:

• Gameplay statistics (levels completed, game performance)
• App usage patterns (screens visited, features used)
• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• Crash reports and error logs

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally. We use this information solely to improve game quality and fix bugs.

App Tracking Transparency

When you first open Critic Cat, you may be asked to allow tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

If you allow tracking: Firebase Analytics may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to provide more detailed analytics.

If you deny tracking: The app will continue to work normally. Analytics will still be collected but without your advertising identifier, providing less detailed insights.

You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Game Center

Critic Cat integrates with Apple's Game Center service for achievements. When you use Game Center:

• Your Game Center profile (display name, avatar) is managed by Apple
• Achievement progress is synced through Apple's servers
• We do not have access to your Apple ID or Game Center credentials

Game Center is optional and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can disable Game Center in your device's Settings.

Local Data Storage

Your game progress (levels completed, stars earned, coins, etc.) is stored locally on your device only. This data is not transmitted to any server and stays entirely on your device.

In-App Purchases

Critic Cat offers optional in-app purchases. All transactions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

Critic Cat is safe for players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The analytics data we collect is anonymous and does not include any personal identifying information.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out of tracking via the ATT prompt or device settings
• Delete your local game data by uninstalling the app
• Disable Game Center in your device settings
• Request information about what data we collect

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the changes on this page with a new effective date.
